However, it is also necessary to exercise the strength of the central muscles – this group of muscles is called the core – the pelvis, the muscles of the feet and even the torso and shoulders.

As you can see, almost the whole body is involved. This is due to the fact that, in addition to the specific force to hit the ball, you also use the impulse of your body to transmit this power to the shot.

Quadriceps, ischiotibials, and glutes

They have the task of bending and stretching the knee of the leg with which the shot is made. Furthermore, these movements also have effects on the flexors of the pelvis, since they are joined to it through the femur.
